Samoa Tsunami

04/10/2009 23:30

Another Tsunami has hit the world, and left over 119 dead. The earthquake that struck near Samoa in the Pacific Ocean caused a tidal wave over 15 feet tall and left a lot of property damage. This is a devastating time for the people of Samoa. Most of the residential properties are only a few feet off the ground, therefore a huge percentage of them lost their homes, personal belonging and loved ones. The one hospital in the area had to be evacuated because of the disaster, and as a result, there is a shortage of medical supplies, doctors, nurses, and food.
