Human trafficking

There are approximately 27 million people slaves around the world. That’s 27 million men, women and children who have been sold into slavery. 27 million people who are forced to work under harsh condition for little or no pay, and women who have been sold as sex slaves. 27 million people who have given up their basic rights to: freedom of speech, right to personal security and right to personal autonomy. It is sad that despite our fast paced, forward moving, autonomous and technology based world, we are still struggling with human injustices such as slavery, torture, and discrimination.
